Founder and President

Rachel Thornton

As founding owner and president of Richardson Communications and Consulting, Inc., Rachel Thornton guides her organization in its mission to create strategic business solutions that support the client’s business plans, as well as their initiatives. With over 25 years in the industry and experience in business transformation and technology consulting, Rachel brings a comprehensive approach to her leadership role and the technology industry. Starting her business during a recession created a foundation of spend analysis that works in tandem with RCC’s  unique process for clients. This holistic approach to a client’s environment has enabled companies to move forward quickly without budget restraints. Rachel founded the company in Dallas-Fort Worth and and has driven expansion of the company in to Denver and Austin over the past four years. 

Most recently, Rachel led the company in securing a data consolidation project for a Fortune 10 company.  This included working within a complex environment in solving for data and cloud strategy. The client had extensive compliancy requirements due to the fact that they are in the healthcare industry. Consulting and collaborating with other partners is a high priority to her as it ensures the best customer experience for RCC customers. She currently sits on several advisory boards and has done so throughout her career. A few of those businesses that have sought out her advisement are AT&T, Flexential, Intelisys, Channel Partners, and Avant. In addition to that, she currently mentors girls in STEAM on technology careers and starting a small business.  On her days off, you will find her in her ’69 Bronco riding through the hill country with her dog Oliver, renovating houses, or hosting her son, family, and friends in her home for Dallas Cowboys watch parties or cookouts.

 

 
 

 

Director of Strategic growth

Brian Lacomb

After graduating from Notre Dame, Brian started his career in the management consulting world at Arthur Andersen and KPMG, helping clients define their Internet strategies in the early days of the dot.com boom. This Big Four Consulting experience enabled Brian to help organizations set strategic IT goals and adapt to a quickly changing digital world.  After leaving the consulting world to obtain his MBA, Brian dove into the start-up world to help grow a fledgling SaaS company. He then transitioned to IT Infrastructure and helped organizations architect and secure colocation, cloud, network and security services. Brian’s consulting work around the various aspects of IT and Business makes him a valuable addition to the RCC Team. 

Brian’s ideal day would start with an early morning backcountry ski tour, dog in tow, or mountain bike ride based on the season, followed by lunch al fresco with friends, dinner and boardgames with the family, finishing the evening with his wife by the firepit enjoying a glass of wine.  

Brian is a big fan of setting audacious goals. Two weeks after moving to Colorado Brian set a goal to climb all of Colorado’s 58 mountains over 14,000 ft. (i.e. Colorado’s 14’ers). Twelve years later, Brian achieved his goal and has experienced and climbed all corners of Colorado, and has since even skied a few of them.

Christian Anniboli

Christian Anniboli recently graduated from the University of North Texas. Christian began with RCC in the summer of 2015 as Sales and Marketing Coordinator.  He is now handling Business Development and Account Management in Austin, Texas.

 
 

 
 

Process engineer

Nico Gonzalez

Coming from a background in aerospace manufacturing, Nico brings a unique perspective and skill set to our team. Since joining our team in 2021, Nico has demonstrated a keen eye for process improvement and project management. His attention to detail and dedication to his work has been instrumental in the success of our projects.

Nico’s perfect day would be going to the park with his dog, playing music, and cooking a meal with his friends.

Our customers' business is constantly evolving, and so should each solution. Our solutions management team will continue to improve customer experience and results with our hands-on approach. Our goal is to develop a relationship where we become a trusted advisor, and intrinsic part of our customers' team.
